Paging System Repairs are best left to a qualified technicians. The mistakes made by unqualified personnel guessing can cause more trouble. I often find multiple troubles caused by improper repair techniques, and it ends up costing the customer a lot more to fix.

Customers are often surprised to find that they do not need a new paging system. Many times we can repair existing for much less than going new. Many times the original system was not installed properly. Once repaired and working as designed, paging sounds much better.
A lot of customers are taking advantage of the new products for adding alerts and announcements for their existing paging system. Technology has really brought the pricing down. Bogen has introduced and upgraded version of the TAMB. (Telephone Access Module) The new product is a TAMB2. Easier to install and program. Good choice for a Paging Interface.

Customers PA System has not work properly since new VOIP Telephone System was installed two years ago. I have enjoyed working with IT and the new VOIP Telephony people. They know applications and ethernet, but when it comes to wiring or tying it all in, they still need the Old Pros. A good background in wiring and connectivity is still required to complete a good working job. Voice, Data, and Paging projects still require a good infrastructure cabling job.
